Pensacola United Methodist Community Ministries needed a website to let the public know about all the helpful outreach services they do for the community. We listened to their needs and developed a great looking website that has tons of useful features. The most notable feature of this website is the online booking system for the “His Place” room that is available for rent. This system allows people to book the room for any number of days and pay via PayPal to reserve their dates. Once the room is reserved for that date, it will show on the calendar as Booked.
The photo gallery on the site pulls directly from Facebook so there is no need to maintain two galleries. Simply upload an image to Facebook and it will appear on the website.
Facebook posts are also pulled into the website making it where any posts appear on the homepage. This allows them to post an article once and it shows on the website and Facebook.
We also created an online form where volunteers can select times and dates that they can volunteer. The information submitted is emailed to the staff and is also stored in a database that can be reviewed later.
Another form is available for people to make donations. This form allows easy donation amounts to be selected or the amount can be entered manually. Once the donation information is filled in, the user is sent to PayPal to complete the donation.
